Incidence of early childhood in the future of the country
In Primero lo Primero we bet on a country where early childhood is the engine that leads us to inclusion, closing gaps and building peace. We know that we will not achieve change alone, that is why we bet you to work together with those who make decisions for the well-being, development and protection of early childhood in Colombia.
We work together
We identified the need to articulate different instances of decision-making that refer to early childhood in Colombia. For this, we will need to work hand in hand with institutions and actors from a collaborative approach, seeking articulation scenarios that allow us to arrive as the last starting point at a quality care with a comprehensive perspective. We recognize that public policy and institutional actors are making an effort in this regard, but we consider that from First Things First we can contribute from a multisectoral and innovative approach.
We want decision-making in Colombia to be based on evidence, research and innovation. In evidence that allows us to identify the highest quality standards starting from our territorial, cultural and social contexts. We will ensure that all boys and girls in Colombia have equal access to comprehensive care with the highest quality standards.
Quality Lab
The quality laboratory is an open innovation initiative that articulates actors and allies from the public and private sectors such as ICBF, ICETEX, Colciencias, ICFES, the Ministry of Education and Primero lo Primero, to work together for the progressive improvement of the conditions of quality in early childhood.
This system promotes collaborative work through research, innovation, capacity building and the consolidation of networks that allow us to collect evidence to achieve a systemic and impact change in early childhood.
